Birthday cards

Lately I’ve gotten into the habit of creating personalised birthday cards. I think it’s quite a rewarding exercise. Even though simple in nature, I’ve found the act of giving them much more enjoyable – for both myself and the recipient.

Social patterns research

This semester I am lucky enough to be working with two very talented individuals (Daniel Bovalino and David Hauser) on a research project that poses the question of how much our society relies on technology… Are we in control anymore?
We are currently setting up a blog that will house our findings.

Information as advocacy

A recent university brief that required the design of an information graphic which speaks about the negative aspects of nuclear power. The solution focuses on the longevity of nuclear waste and questions whether we really have the right to make a decision that will affect so many future generations (15,000 to be exact).

Back to school

University is back on this week. To prepare I have converted my Sydney food fridge into a Melbourne mini-bar. There is Up & Go for the early starts and Red Bull for the all-nighters. Also note the miniature celebratory champagne bottle.

Farewell Sydney

The obligatory first post

After neglecting this domain for the greater part of a year, I decided a renovation was in order. Instead of a flash-based solution, this time I have adopted CSS, PHP and Javascript as my illegitimate children (with the help of my web guru, Haruki).
